With the warm weather not going to last forever, Fr. Brian Hess and I decided to go for a little late winter ride. Figured it'd be good for us and the horses. Turned out we were right.
Early morning saddling. I think the horses enjoy it as much as I do.
Once we got to Newcastle we got Fr. Brian and Chief set up.
We rode out on 6 mile basin where Dcn. Joe Sandrini has access to a pasture. Fun country.
Nothing special, just a nice trip around the permitter.
Can't beat it.
Any day horse back is a good day in my book. It was fun to get out and about. Helps the horses remember what they're here for and helps us experience some fresh air. Now back to the saddle of ministry.
